Department of Safety Commissioner Dave Mitchell announced Feb. 25 that the Tennessee Department of Safety (TDOS) is cooperating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in an on-going investigation of Swift Transportation in Memphis, according to a news release. This action comes after the FBI executed search warrants today at Swift Transportation Commercial Driving School as part of the on-going investigation. The TDOS has a part-time driver license center located at the Swift facility in Memphis. The facility is open Monday, Thursday and Friday only.
