President Barack Obama is considering a mix of more than six Supreme Court candidates that is top-heavy with women and Hispanics, a group that features three judges, a governor, his homeland security secretary and his solicitor general. Among those under consideration are California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno, Solicitor General Elena Kagan, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and U.S. Appeals Court judges Sonia Sotomayor and Diane Pamela Wood. Now that the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the convictions (with a small adjustment) of Ramos And Compean and the Supreme Court has refused to hear the case, perhaps people will begin to see these two for what they are. They’re not criminals in the sense that we see criminals, but they did knowingly break the law and with the commutation, received appropriate sentences, but they remain two convicted felons, rightfully so. Their stupidity lead to their being charged and convicted. And probably without any willful criminal intent in the beginning. But they are not “Brave Patriotic Americans”. ….Read More
