Almost a year to the day after Swift Transportations Memphis training facility was raided by multiple Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies, the mystery of who the target was has been solved. Individuals seeking new commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) would be required to complete both classroom and behind-the-wheel training from an accredited educational program or institution under a proposed rule announced today by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
