There is nothing in the program, nor in the NAFTA rules that would suggest, authorize nor make it possible for Mexican drivers to take your job.  
 
This is simply more fear-mongering and lies you&#039;ve been told to scare the hell out of you and cause this reaction. 
 
There has always been the H1-B and the N-1 options for employers if they chose to use them to bring in Mexican drivers, and US companies have not done so. They have used these programs to bring in the Kiwis and the Aussies however, and some from Eastern Europe, but these haven&#039;t effected our jobs. 
 
Celadon tried it in 2000 when they established Jaguar and tried to run Mexican drivers from the border to their terminals, paying these drivers .18-.19 cpm. Mexicans are not stupid, and Celadon soon had a lawsuit on their hands for pay discrimination. 
 
It only takes a little common sense and logic to see how we have all been lied to by the likes of Jimmy Hoffa, Todd Spencer and their allies. 
 
I work for a carrier on the border. If any of what we&#039;ve been told, had the least bit of truth to it, I would be fighting against this to save my job. My job is as secure as can be in this economy. 
 
This program was designed to get information on the feasibility and the ability of Mexican carriers to operate under our rules and regs and in our environment. For the past 18 months, they have been monumentally successful. 
 
Perhaps this is why Hoffa and the forces behind him are so anxious to end this program. Every day that passes shows the American people how much they have been lied to. And I don&#039;t know about you, but when I am lied to, it infuriates me.

		<description>What happens to my job.  I have worked my whole life, trying to make ends meet, now I am a United States truck driver.  I can&#039;t afford to lose my job due to a Mexican trucker working for less money, by drving into the US.  How many more jobs are the US citizens going to lose. </description>
