So why don't we modified NAFTA and push for a General Fair Trade Agreement that can actually take into consideration peoples' perspective? That way Americans could keep their jobs in areas which they excell or are vital for the survival of local communities and Mexicans can export to the US the products that America needs, instead of dismantling your fine industries at home to create sweat shops south of the border. Too much has been done wrong in the last fifteen years between Mexico and the US and the situation in the Northern border (of Mexico) shows we urgently need for a new type of integration.

Best,

I think the US should get rid of NAFTA and go with a Fair Trade Act. Allow truckers from Mexico to bring goods from Mexico into the US and allow truckers from the US to take goods from the US into Mexico.

This way everyone continues to work and pass along goods.

Until another treaty is drafted, the US should honor its word on the treaty already in existence.

The Democrats are playing with fire by abrogating the NAFTA treaty, inviting retaliation from Mexico.
