It is extremely sad that the right wing neo-cons and other extremist idiots such as Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily would take a tragedy such as this and twist it to reflect their own personal agendas.

That’s the headline today where Corsi still is pushing his opposition to the non existant NAFTA Super highway.

And there is more. The rascist Minutemen are making the same claims and other right wing extremist web sites are all falling in line.

Why can’t they just tell the truth. The bridge was more than 40 years old and money for it’s upkeep was used for other purposes.

Here’s some more headlines.

That’s it. If NAFTA hadn’t passed, this bridge wouldn’t have collapsed.

It would have been still as old, but it’s that damn NAFTA.

The safety standards of the roads and bridges are the least of our worries. What we should be worrying about are junk trucks being driven by uninsured, frequently drunk, unlicensed and unqualified peasant drivers who can’t read traffic signs. Bush is setting us up to be killed on these slaughtering highways. (And yes, I’m sorry to admit I voted for him, twice.) If I knew then what I know now….
