45-year-old Chi Kong Chow is being held in the Hamilton County Jail under a $20,000 bond

45-year-old Chi Kong Chow is being held in the Hamilton County Jail after causing a crash on Fort Washington Way that injured two sisters and killed another on Wednesday night.

Police say Chow may have been speeding when he lost control of his truck and it tipped over onto the SUV, containing 52-year-old Rhonda Gandy, 52-year-old Rhenda Driver and 57-year-old Susan Struwe. Struwe and Driver were injured and Gandy was killed.

Chow and his passenger had minor injuries. Wong is from Canada and is being held on $20,000 bond.

Excessive speed a possible factor in fatal rollover of Canadian truck

Excessive speed a possible factor in fatal rollover of Canadian truck

It was about 2030 when Chow was transitioning from I-71 onto I-75 south at the Ohio River Brent Spence bridge in a curve that has seen it’s share of accidents. The speed limit here as I recall is 35 mph.

What is this? A CANADIAN Truck involved in a fatal accident? Not a Mexican truck. They have operated safely and without incident now for a year!

Where is Jimmy Hoffa screaming about those dangerous and unsafe Canadian rigs on our highways killing Americans and putting the motoring public at risk?

Where is Joan Clybrook and Public Citizen demanding action?

How about Todd Spencer and OOIDA? Ooops! I forgot. They have a cozy relationship with the Canadian counterpart of OOIDA.

And Stevie Sommers? Where is the outrage and the demand that these dangerous and reckless Canadian truckers be sent back north and the border closed? Ehhhh?

Oh, and the racist organizations such as F.A.I.R, ALIPAC.us. After all, Mr Chow is an oriental. Chinese or Korean, but certainly not whitebread Amerikun.

Where are the protesters whining about Mr Chow requesting to speak to the Canadian Consul in Cincy, if there is one.

Seems to prove my point about the rampant xenophobia and myopic intolerance abounding in our society today.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if this was a Mexican trucker involved.

And while we are in Cincinnati for the moment, how about this one?

Fatal Crashed Blamed on Alcohol

Dump truck driver arrested

( Goshen Twp. ) Police say a deadly accident on Wednesday morning was caused by a drunk driver.

Geroge Geckler, drunk dump truck driver blew a BAC of 0.13 more than 3 times the legal limit

Geroge Geckler, drunk dump truck driver blew a BAC of 0.13 more than 3 times the legal limit

At about 10:30am, investigators say a dump truck driven by George Gleckler ran a red light at the corner of SR 28 and SR 132 and hit and SUV. 86-year-old Wesley Robinson was killed, 80-year-old Doris Robinson was taken to Bethesda North where she died. A person in a second car struck was also taken to Bethesda.

Police say Gleckler, 55, was drunk at the time of the crash. He’s been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, OVI and running a red light at the corner of SR 28 and SR 132. He’s being held at the Clermont County Jail on suicide watch with a $200,000 bond. Gleckler was not injured.

Police say Gleckler’s BAC was 0.13. Doris and Wesley Robinson had been married 60 years when they were killed.

Where’s the outrage? Or is it all being channeled towards 155 Mexican trucks participating in a legal and sanctioned Pilot program.

Seems not a day goes by in Cincinnati that you don’t hear of one or two, sometimes more, big rig crashes in that county. Thinks that make you go hmmmmmm!

I AM OUTRAGED about George Gleckler. He killed my grandparents. He chose to drink. He chose to drive. AND he chose to drive a DUMP TRUCK in the middle of the day. He is sitting in the luxury of his home right now while hundreds of people are suffering. My grandparents were kind, humble and hardworking people. Over 1,000 people attended their funeral who won’t ever be able to see them again because of him. My grandparents helped all those around them to be better people. They were two of the “good guys” in this tough world we live in. George Gleckler and the company he works for (he and his brothers) are responsible. People should not do business with them. They don’t care about being safe just making money. I’m afraid for their vehicles to be on the road. I’m afraid for that man to be out there. I miss my Grandma and Grandpa so much. Life will never be the same. My little son named after his Great Grandpa cried today and said, “Mommy, I wish I had one more day to tell them that I loved them.” They were so good and full of LIFE.
    With Profound Sadness,
Wesley and Doris Robinson’s Eldest Granddaughter, Theresa

I am the driver of the Suv that the truck hit. My sister Rhonda was killed, and my other sister her twin, Rhenda was pinned in the truck and they had to cut her out.

Myself and family are defistated, we were going to be all five girls together for the first time since we were very young babies. Our hearts are broken and shreded, we will never have the dream that we were planning. Now it will be only in part because one of us is missing.

I hate that this has happened and want my sister back.
    We will miss you sister.
