This is a new website being formed by the poor misinformed fools and others which in todays climate of intolerance, will probably become a magnet for all the closet rascists, protectionists and isolationists in and out of our industry.
It’s supposed to come online later today and we’ll be monitoring all the whining and belly aching and might add some flames to the fire, just for shits and giggles.
But , the website has the Bubba Bo, seal of approval apparently since he gave it an on air plug. Sad that he won’t give Mexico Trucker the same courtesy, especially since some folks might finally have a chance to learn the truth about what they fear. But for that exact reason, they’ll never promote this site.
Talking of Bubba Bo, tonights the first night I’ve had a chance to listen since last Wednesday since I’ve been home all that time, and surprise of surprises, 700WLW does not allow live streaming into a Mexico ISP. Tried it and been denied. Three times!
But Bubba Bo seems to be giving tacit approval to all of those advocating violence and mayhem against the Mexican truckers. For instance;
Wayne calls in calling for drivers to whup ass and destroy equipment. The only reason he wasn’t allowed to continue because he used one of George Carlin’s 7 dirty little words. Pobrecito! Pero, he made his point.
And then Bill, the resident crack pot called in tying the Mexican Pilot Program into the Catholic Church, Jews taking over the country and all the ultra extremist white trash bullshit. (Ooops! I used one the bad word Wayne did) Guess I had better banish myself for the night and continue on to El Paso for the day!

You’re sounding more like Jesse Jackson then Jesse Jackson. You’re spouting that everyone is against Mexican trucks coming here because we’re “racist”. That’s BS. I don’t want to be driven out of work by a company using labor that is grossly underpaid compared to our “prevailing” rate for work. I don’t want to be driven out of work by a carrier coming here loaded to the gills with fuel from Mexico that’s way cheaper then ANY fuel I can buy anywhere in the US. There’s no way US carriers can compete price-wise with Mexican carriers. I read that the Mexican gov’t. will be giving subsidies to their carriers to get established up here for terminal facilities, local P/D trucks etc. In order to get a tag in the US, we have to pay a federal highway use tax of $550 per truck over 55,000 lbs. I doubt Mexican trucks will have to do that to run here seeing as they’ll have foreign tags.
Forget all the hype about drugs, terrorists, smuggling etc. This is strictly an economic “war” I’m gonna be fighting. My tactics will be based on economics and using that to my advantage…. and ensuring that my enemy will NOT have an insurmountable economic advantage to lower rates for freight I haul. Drivers will be a dime a dozen to a Mexican carrier but his equipment costs can break him. Remember that.
Our presidente El Busho is more worried about what Mexico thinks of him then what US citizens think on this subject. I s’pose once his term here is up he’ll move to Mexico & run for the job of prez down there. Lord knows his main concerns seem to be focused down there.
But get off this “racist” train you’re riding….. it’s BS and it’s going nowhere. I don’t care if Mexican trucks are driven by little green men from Mars. If they’re going to have insurmountable economic advantages then I don’t want them here.
